Mass, I think you misunderstood me. You cannot delete the main Administrator account (the one that only appears in Safe Mode), or password-protect it. That is, unless you obtain a raw copy of XP and choose not to add any accounts during setup. I've done this, and I can assure you, it's the only way to password-protect the main Administrator account.

I am well aware that you can delete a BIOS password, but not a harddrive password.

itismesaj = not N00b

And phonephrack, no more typing in all caps. It looks bad.

one sure as was to ASSURE they don't get in is to put a small canister of some toxic gas inside your computer, put a small motor into one of the HD power slots. Whan the computer starts up, get the motor to pierce the canister... When the lil' fucker starts the computer, toxic gas comes pouring out...
He = Dead
Problem = Solved

itismesag seems to= n00b

i have password protected the main ***** account before without a raw copy of xp

ALSO
ntfs password remover?

you can easily remove winxp/ntfs passwords....the only time it's even difficult is when the actual data on the harddrive is encrypted with the password..in which case, ghost the harddrive and break the encryption, they're never all that difficult to break

You could probably boost up your security by adding a password to your bios. That way they can't gain access you the F8 Key

Not to contradict, but if you login to the administrator account and go to your user options you can create a password. My computer only uses one account (administrator) and I have it password protected.

No, goddamnit! I'm referring to the root ***** that can only be accessed in Safe Mode. And, unless you obtained a raw XP copy, you can't password-protect that root ***** account.

Well, when I boot into safe mode it still asks me for a password. And only one user appears and it is the administrator account. So maybe we have slightly different setups, because my copy was tweaked with before I installed it.
