wifi connecton help

i need app to connect through wifi ' cause windows app doesn't do it.
i have dell wireless utility and it detects networks but connect to
network app doesn't see and wouldn't connect.
So, that's the whole problem. I need better way to detect and connect
through wifi to the net.,

me and my friend tried to see wats wrong but, we just didnt get it.
