What happens when you try to boot up in reg mode?

It loads everything for a bit, then just hangs. I might run an interactive boot here in a bit, see if I can figure out. As I was typing that, it gave me a blue screen saying "APC_INDEX_MISMATCH"

And now it's saying that my activation period is up, and won't even let me boot in safe mode, but will let me boot reg with limited functionality. Still hangs after a while, but it seems to take longer to hang.

That's interesting; I've never heard of that before. Did you upgrade or did you make an ISO file out of Vista?

I downloaded an iso off of bittorrent, and compiled it using PowerrISO. I had to snag a floppy drive to get the drivers for my CD-ROM to load windows. I tried popping in one of my disks, but now it's just saying "Invalid boot disk"

Well, I do have a copy of XP Professional with a volume serial number (meaning it can be used an infinite number of times). The only problem is it's not on any host.

2000 is easy....i have a cracked copy in my room (well, 2000 pro) ^_^

xp is pretty easy as well if you look around a bit...

the point here was that you didnt mention that you DIDNT find it personally. also, i found quite a few results on google for those links ^_^ quite a few of them had guides, quite a few of them had cracks, the point was that you saw this discovery SOMEWHERE, and didnt include any credit, nor did you bother to mention it wasnt your own work.

Think this through logically:
If I had found the links that practically GAVE out free copies of Vista (no matter which version), don't you think I'd be hollering that I had done so? It'd be a HUGE discovery. Credit doesn't go to any one person for these links. Wanna know why? Because anyone who buys a copy of Vista from Microsoft has access to these links. It just took a few smart people to realize that you could download from these links to get things rolling. That was when Vista was first released.

What if your elders don't know what their talking about? What if the person who's actually researched and knows what their talking about is younger? Does that make that person any less capable? Absolutely not.

But anyway, the purpose of a temporary ban is to teach a person a lesson. Any attempts to avoid that lesson-teaching deserves a longer sentence. Don't think for one second that I'm afraid of you or anyone else on this site.
