Well.... I find it extremely hard to believe that a technician wouldn't let you run another OS. My Grade Supervisor (which I'm slashing her tires at the end of the year) said that I could run Ubuntu off the Live CD. Then all I did was COPY some files. Would you call that illegal?

Yes, this method does NOT leave a trail as any Linux Operating System does not use the windows Paging file. Plus running off the live CD means that it will not write onto the hard drive at all.

.....or any other os that will load from a storage device, id recommend DSL (damn small linux), partition your flash drive and go to the compy's bios and make sure that it allows you to set a removable device as a boot dd (disk drive), then boot of your partition and you have complete control on the computer, internet, files, and all, DSL does this all while being 60mb and can be run on 16mb of ram and 300mhz processor and it still utilizes a GUI that's a lot like using a visual command prompt (if anyone gets that), btw, i'd recommend getting familiar with command prompt, it's a very powerful tool, especially if you run programs like nircmd.exe off of it, pretty powerful stuff you can work with while being a script kiddie
