I have a Gateway model mt6728 and theres no sound.. can anyone help?

buy a sound card ? if it has one try and find out what type it is and type it into google or the mother board if it is an onboard one if its a pci sound card google the name and dl the drivers if you dont have one allready you need to buy one you can get a cheap one for $20 -$25 $30 tops may be less in your area i dunno lol
