yes, but then that new one becomes your external, and people can still track it, especially if its a harsh organization like FBI (hypothetically speaking) they can just go to your ISP and see that you had your IP changed...

erm..he said ipv6, which is more along the lines of a SHITLOAD more than that....you could give an ipv6 ip addy to every cell in the human body and there would still be some left over....


edit:
IPv6 supports 2^128 (about 3.4×10^38) addresses, or approximately 5×10^28 addresses for each of the roughly 6.5 billion people alive today.
