I'v heard from someone that you can type a certain thing in your cell phone and then call someone it can like lock the call I.D. er sumthin'. I think he was bullshittin', but if there is a way to do it i wanna know.

No,no. I dont think U understand it permenantly fucks up a cell's call I.D. so that when ANYONE calls there call I.D. wont work!

i can see ways that this would work, as for being aware of a way that has happened to work, i dont know...i would think not, unless there is some way to spoof your caller id info beyond just making it private name, private number, and the info in the one type (or all types?) of cellphones is not truncated to remove values over a buffer...in which case, you could potentially overtake someone's cellphone altogether, making it your own slave cellphone..i personally doubt this is the case, the cellphone industry could not handle such a blow in their security, and would not allow it to happen

it just makes it so that nothing shows on the call I.D. It doesn't take down the whole cell-phone. But I suppose that if no-1 has ever heard of it then it's most likely not true.

many times i have been on my cell phone trying to call my friend and i hear myself echoing and almost makes it seem as if im talking to myself. its wierd, any idea what this is?

Maybe you were just on speaker-phone cuz it echoes when you're on speaker.
