i have like 25 batteries from my xbox controller and i took out all the zunc and serperated it from the crap and dried it now i have alot of zinc powder whats it good for. also i was trying to make ammonium chloride but i cant get it to condense. could i get it in its gas form and bubble it through water to collect it?

if its pure zinc and i dont think it is since its from a battery you can mix it with dilute acids to make hydrogen but other than that theres not much you can do with it

you could use the zinc to make sure your ship doesnt oxidize (rust, altho im sure you knew that)......whatever.....

mix it with some kind of base and make a smoke bomb

The zinc should be relatively pure if you cleaned it up.
Mix with sulphur for a quite nice green flash powder. You'll need to grind it up first, duh !
