i suppose this is plausible, as the first thing to hit you would be super-heated air, which would knock you down, then the fire bit would come afterwards, but you'd have to be using a small amount, or poorly made c-4, or be really really lucky.....how do you define face?, cuz some people overstate things, like saying it blew up in your face when you were 200 yards away and only felt the heat of the blast....
