I've been thinking about a thing that i want to make,but dont want to make cause i value my limbs.If we take a tennis ball drill a hole in it, fill it with gasoline, and put a firecracker in it, would it make a big explosion?

no, you will likely light your hand on fire attempting to light the firecracker. a easy and fairly safe explosive is get thick walled(schedule 40) 1/2" pvc pipe. cut a 5" length, drill a hole in the center, glue a cap on one end, fill with gunpowder(can be obtained from model rocket engines but will need to be crushed), glue the other cap on, stick a good long fuse in it, light and toss. will make a loud boom with a decent flash of light and minimal danger.
