it wont work once it makes it into the bomb. it will go out before going through the hole. yes its a fuse, yes it burns, but it has no practical use, because it will go out in an enclosed space.

you're a dumbass... wax is a petroleum byproduct much like engine greases and diesel fuel. It's one of the heaviest forms of petrol. However, wax does need a wick to burn. Just like kerosene. You can, if done correctly, put OUT a match in kerosene or in wax. However, if done correctly ( ie with a wick ) both burn.

Wax DOES burn, but I have not seen it burn by itself. Although being carbon based, wax seems to require another carbon based material before it would burn. This is how a candle works. The wax burns only because of the wick's carbon content and the wick does not burn fast, because its not being burned directly.

ive decided that although the concept seems like it might work, i dont think it actually would work. if it were to go into anthing that could be ignited by a flame (powders and such) there would need to be only a small hole in the container of whatever in order to keep the pressure in, however when the flame gets to the hole it will go out. i tried igniting a C02 canister bomb with an insense stick once, when the ember got to the hole, it went out. i then tried using napalm to light it (a string of napalm) cause i had some stored in the woods) and the flame went out when it got to the hole. moral of the story? if u want a FUSE, use a FUSE...not a toothpick....
