First of all:
To day at chemistry class, i thought, what a great idea;
Saltpeter 75% +
carbon 10% +
sulphur 15 % goes KABOOM.

So why dont thy and mix
nitric acid 75% +
carbon dioxide 10% +
sulphuric acid 15% ?

- will this have any fun effect like; extream oxidation when added metal or is it just gonna blog up?


And second:
Salpeter has gone ellegal here in Denmark, (if your not a farmer)
but now because of some fucked up dum shits you will have to have a perscription to get it, even as a farmer.

So my question is: Is there any alternative? or can i make it my self?

The thing i thought was:
In danish the ingredients for gun powder is
(in danish)
Saltpeter (saltpeter)
Kul (carbon)
Svovl (sulphur)
Acid is "syre"

And there is some other things called
Saltpeter syre (nitric acid )
Kul syre (carbon dioxide)
Svovl syre (sulphuric acid)
- And as u can see; The ingredients are the same, just acid based.
And i asked my teacher if i could try & mix those, and he just yelled out DONT!
- so i got curious, and those materials are not purchasable here in DK (denmark) So i cant really find out. Now i am just so darn curious.
