and holy fuck...so i was looking at the IWS 2000 on the net....that shit is goofy. or at least the prototype is....4750 feet per second with a 15.2mm sabot type round. thats crazy.

*Ninjaofdeth the Tavor-21 is a baddass gun. Its another bullpup design that remains close in likeness to the L85. Its an Isreali design and the magazine is the same as an M4s magazine.

yeah, like the military version has the 5.56 round like the M4, but do you know like what the civilian versions round is? cause in these pics the magazine on what they claim is the civilian version looks a lot smaller than the M4 type magazines


and, i hate to ask it, but i assume you've shot them...in your opinion do you think that the M16 (A1-4, whatever you've shot), the M4 or the old school M14 is better in general? because i know a lot of people didnt like the M16 A1 as much as they liked the M14, but i was just wonderin if the M4 has made up for the M16s problems/drawbacks, or if its just another crappy 5.56 assault rifle

The civ version will most likely just swap to .223 Rem, which is pretty much identical anyway.

FN Scar will dominate once the US military makes it the standard issue rifle. Fabrique National (FN) is prob my fav company also cuz they make the m249 series mini-me SAW light automatic machine guns. I love that thing!

And Ghost, the m14 is definitely not cooler than the m16

*Chode Warrior, Im sorry but he M14 has the history, the style, and the reliability the totally outshadows the mere icon of the M16. Eugene Stover was a very bright man. His ideas and specs on weapons is legendary and is still being used as a basis for modern assault rifles. The M16A1 was a weapon that jammed if it got too hot, or then immediatly cold from from ceasing fire. The A2 version improved on this with a better alloy used for the weapon, but still jammed at the first sign of dirt, sand or even its own powder residue. Its popularity and assumed superiority are only in the eyes of the beholder. The performance of the weapon shows its colors. And the M14 is more effective than 30 M16 rifles.

Yes I guess that could be said as impressive, but i can only shoot one at a time, so it really doesnt mean anything me saying I have a lot of guns. And BTW the IWS system is really just an enlarged flechette dart in a cannon round. The penetration capabilities of that dart are astounding.

Okay, so I know very little about assault rifles, carbines, shotguns, and submachine guns. I like sidearms, personally (in terms of my life). Could you possibly make a thread dealing with sidearms? Because ^ that's all Hebrew to me.

Secondly, the 16 was a piece of shit. Great concept, very poor execution. The A-series mods helped a lot, but it wasn't really worthwhile until they cut it down to the carbine 4.
