lol the other shit is powdered aluminum.

You're gonna hav problems with igniting it tho. Thermite is kinda a bitch to ignite. You're best bet is magnesium ribbon, but I heard you could use potassium permanganate and glycerine. I dont know where you'd get the potassium permanganate, besides the internet, but glycerine is easy to get. You can buy it in CVS as in the skin care section. You look simple minded, however (no offense), so you'd prob be better off just buying sparklers and using them. But watch out, they can be dangerous cuz a spark could prematurely ignite the thermite, especially if its finely ground.
