anything that is made of metal will work. If you use rusty stuff that would be even better, it increases the chances of the stuff inside breaking into smaller pieces. I suggest taking nails and cutting them up and sharpening them on both ends with a hand file. It might take a while but it will be a good amount of shrapnel. The bb idea is good too.

as far as the explosive itself..do a triple cap system with the first cap as a primary, the second cap a secondary, and the third cap containing extra shrapnel and stuff.through this mehod..you could probably use an AP AN/FO system and get a pretty nice bang.do a search on youtube for 10KG ANFO...thats a big bang.

Na, you guys didn't get it, shrapnels cool and all but I want something to substitute for the black powder, like some mixture that I would fill it up with, and ill guess ill stick BB's in there too, throw it at some squirrels or something(thats a joke)
