Chuck Palahniuk, the guy who wrote the book the movie was based on, originally had all valid recipes and brought them to the LA bomb squad to confirm them and they were valid recipes. Some time before he finished the book, he went back and changed them figuring that too many retards would try to make them and fuck up, killing themselves. The LA bomb squad advised him against putting the recipes in, but didn't "make" him do shit.

The book is way better than the movie.

i liked the book better than the movie except for the scene when hes on the roof and all the support group people come.

That smoke ring kicked ass. Love it how they put the 3 frames of a David Fincher at the end. Everyone that I have watched it with didn't catch it.

You know how in the movie they talk about Tyler having a job of a projectionist and spicing frames of pornography into movies where the two characters meet for the first time? Yeah, watch it again at the end where Jack (or Joe in the book) and Marla are holding hands, right before it goes to the credits, you will see a nice big cock (David Fincher's).
