I was told ping balls where made mostly of nitrocellulose so I dissolved several in some acetone. When it was a gel like consistency I added very fine pyro aluminum dust. I dried and flaked it. Burns very bright with white sparks shooting off. Would be cool to add into a large bottle rocket or in a salute.

You cant get pyro grade aluminum in stores. Google it online. Get 3 micron for $20 a pound. While your at it you might as well buy a pound of potassium perchlorate and some fuse. Flash powder is so much fun and you will have a couple months supply. I fill just about anything with it that doesnt produce too much shrapnel.

well all of those are pretty dangerous, so i guess your not that pussy, but just learn basic chemistry and you will be able to safely manufacture other high explosives

Tannerite is a high explosive. its just ammonium Nitrate and aluminum with something else to make it more impact sensitive. I think i've actually seen videos of people detonating just AN/AL(yes anal) with rifles.
