Sulfuric and nitric acids are water-based solutions into which is dissolved a sulfur or nitric oxide gas. Boiling the water will then evolve the gas.

But they're rather inefficient chemical weapons.

i probably should appologize for bein so harsh on the guy. I had been havin a really hard time the past week or so, I mean I've been worried sick about wether or not some one got hurt because of the whole prime situation, im failing three courses, one of which is required for me to graduate, another one is required for me to get into college. Ive been rejected for a few scholarships, drama and bullshit with every single one of my groups of friends and I really wasn't as controlled as I should have been. You may think that I am attempting to rationalize my actions, though I am not. I am merely explaining what lowered my inhibitions about not going off on him.

Well, the acid will lose it's corrosiveness. it will only burn or do damage when moisture is present, e.g very humid, or if it gets into your eyes or you inhale it. the gas alone doesn't do shit

ya, i wanted too know if its possible to turn it into a gas but so that it has the corrosiveness as it has in a liquid form

double up your device so that the acid gas is in one thing and water vapor is in another and rig it so both release at the same time to get the humidity going so the acid will have moisture to work with, thats my assement of it. not really a bomb as much as it would be a device or something. If it is intended for people to inhale it or to be set off in a group of people then just use the gas itself because like ghost said, inhaled or gets in the eyes...

i doubt this kid will even be able to get nitric acid. if he can get sulfuric i suppose he can make the nitric acid, but if he didnt know that he can boil a liquid to turn it into a gas then he shouldnt be trying to make it..

ACTUALLY, dude; if you ever turn it into a gas it gets you almost as high as nitrous, but just use small quantities.

and why waste nitric acid on being a chemical weapon, which it would most likely be a shitty one btw, like most are* (cept anything ghost makes), nitrate something. it would be way the fuck cooler. boom=better than burning lungs. personally if you somehow got me with nitric acid fumes i'd hold my breath long enough to take out my SOG and stab you in the femoral artery and aorta...

*by saying chemical (and biological) weapons are shitty weapons i mean they are unpredictable, and can almost always kill or infect the user, in which case you get fucked. also, the use of chemical weapons got iraq invaded (indirectly), so if you think the govt wont kick your ass to death, litterally-theyll send you to gtmo as a terrorist or some shit (no US bill of rights there mate)-then you are seriously fucked up.
