My uncle passed away recently and he was a civil war nut; he left me all the equipment that he went to reenactments with. The best thing he left me is his cannon equipment. I now own a 4.67in. civil war cannon and about 300lbs of black powder. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could exploit this equipment to my amusement.

yeah, I know, but I would like to try something a little more original.

make your own projectile and shoot that (something like a shrapnal bomb, or something)

I like the way you think, fragmentation projectiles, widespread damage, my kind of fun.

make an old school cannister round. take a 50 mm can (u said u have a 50mm cannon right?), fill it with musket shot (or go new school and use bolts and nails) and yay u made a canister round; a giant ass shotgun. just shoot it like normal. haha. go hunting with it.

Hunting with a 4.67in. shotgun, sounds like fun. Think of all the little pieces of wild animal flying about, I'm getting all worked up just thinking about it. I can't wait to try it. I have shot a solid round at a tree before and it broke the tree in half, so shooting a small defenseless animal, just think of the carnage.

hahaha....just make sure cheynney doesnt have access to it, or u might be screwed. hahahaha. i love making fun of him although i dunno how to spell his name....
