OK, here's what you do...

Materials:
-Methane(a decent amount so this can be done over and over again)
-ten gallon bucket or whatever size you can find.
-dish soap(anything that gets realy bubbly)
-gallon of water


Do this outside if you want a really big tower!!!

So heres what you do, you take a bucket and put a gallon of water in it and a few squirts of dish soap. Then, insert a hose with methane coming out of it into the middle of the bucket pointing straight up(up for best results). Stir the water until bubbles begin to form then stir for a few more seconds until the bubbles begin to rise. Remove whatever you're stirring it with and step back. A column of bubbles will begin to form and will continue to grow. Don't touch it or you'll pop a ton of bubbles and it will fall over. However, if you allow it to keep growing, whenever you get tired of it and want to either stop or start over, turn off the methane and remove the hose from the bucket then simply toss a lit match onto the column and it will go up in a huge ball of fire. (Mythbusters did it and the mentos in diet coke)

What does it matter if he saw it on mythbusters? Everybody has to learn somewhere, and he gave credit to them, so what's the problem?

Nice, now you just have to get your hands on hudrogen gas, i wonder if it would work with helium? Anyone wanna try? Let me know how high you can get it. of, and add food dye randomly. XD

Damn, oh well. Helium is easier to get your hands on than methan. How 'bout hydrogen? That seems pretty flammable to me.
