with a regular pack of safety mathces you have to cut the heads off just make sure they are all facing the same way, you then cut off one of the strikers from the side of the packer (better to cut it off a different one so that the box is complete), then cut it so that it fits in the match box, insert the striker so that the heads are touching it and then tape it up all nice, tight and thick and then throw it at the ground in front of some nerd...... he will have a blast.
