Please can someone tell me what m100 is exactly and also wat would be a good HE to use in a nail bomb?

okay would putting nails and gunpowder in a jar and making a fuse get it to work? or getting a flammable material, say lighter fluid then filling a resealable container with it and nails then getting a fuse and lighting make it explode? basically im trying to make a nail bomb but im not sure how exactly and google seems to be pulling up a blank for me
