I'm looking to make something close to the loudness of an m-80....and I dont wunna use some shit i've never heard of.....just flash powder from firecrackers. Anyone know how to make a good casing (not metal) and endcaps? i've tried the paper football casing but that doesnt work to good. Let me know your secret tricks to making a good bang. Is it possible with the silver powder from firecrackers though? strong enough?

could always try a cardboard tube, with endcaps made from cardboard, ducttaped to the end, and a hole that is only big enough to fit the fuse....

altho i dont know how loud that will be.....pvc pipe takes a larger explosive to explode, but it would be louder...

there HAS TO BE SOMETHING. what is a good strong paper that can muneveur and bend easy? I was thinking manilla folder....but then what about endcaps? how bout hot glue? or is that just stupid?

take manilla paper fold it multiple times be sure to keep a very tight fold. seal the ends with scotchtape and dip the casing in melted wax. let it dry and reapeat a few times untill you get a nice thick coating then go and take a blade and cut the end out leaving a holo tube silicon or epoxy one end and some tissue paper add your flash powder from the crackers. put tissue on top and seal add your fuse then seal it with your epoxy or silicon. you now have a water proof m-80 with a nice report.

Like art paper..Its not completely cardboard but its stronger then regular paper...Its easy to bend and stuff...but it would work good..

use construction paper
glue and a sharpie

cut the paper into 2'' strips and roll it once or twice around sharpie then put glue all over the rest and keep rolling, then glue on some actual cardboard circles for endcaps.

what i always do is put an amount of flash powder then put it in plastic wrap and fold it like a cherry bomb then duct tape it with the blue duct tape and tape away i did that and its very loud :twisted:

i just use PVC pipe 1/2 or 3/4 diameter 2 1/2 inch long epoxy the ends. or get end caps and glue it. Its PVC so dont woorry about shrapnel cause its very light and wont travel far.
