okay well paper fuses(also counts as tissue)can only burn in high oxygen environments,unlike visco/safety fuses which can burn in a really tightly packed areas. which basically means that i need to know how to make a good fuse that would burn in a tightly packed firework. please share what u know.....

In a pinch, a sparkler wrapped in alfoil can suffice but it's nothing like the real thing. Just buy visco, your fingers and eyesight will thank you later.

lol u crack me up guys ok just get any kind of thick string from dollar store get gun powder put about a half teaspoon of gund powder for every 3 inchs of sting aside then dampen the gun powder with water dampen not soake like drip water on it then roal string in it let dry and u got a fuse but im still not sure how to make them burn slow so be carful might go off toooo fast

and as someone stated awhile ago, i guess you can melt ping pong balls in acetone and coat the fuse with that to make it waterproof. maybe not?
