grind or crush matchheads to a powder, make a tube that's closed on one side and has a tight hole on the other side and fill it with the powder, make a fuse by spreading some of the matchhead powder over a piece of toilet paper and rolling a roll from that that fits in the hole in the tube and then put it in. light the fuse and have fun, though you might have to try a few times to get it right.

Thanks. I was just as we speak, well write, making one out of matchheads and tin foil but yours sounds better. I'll try it and say how it works.

umm....

I s'pose you could use gasoline and a cart***** of compressed air.....

but it'd be easier to buy one.. check out the specs on a model rocket engine and try to mimic them.
