ok so i just emptied like 500 twenty two shells for the GP.

Make your own; it's just 75% Potassium nitrate, 15% charcoal, and 10% sulfur all measured by weight. Mix them together in a ball mill using a lead milling ball. Then you have gunpowder, or as it's also known-"black powder".

Wrong - The propellant in shotgun and bulelt shells is not black powder, nor gunpowder. It's called DBSP - Double base smokeless powder, or, more rarely, triple base smokeless powder. DBSP is nitrocellulose colloided by dissolving into nitroglycerine; TBSP also contains nitroguanidine.

It's fucking useless. Very difficult to det unless under EXTREME confinement; and it only serves a purpose as a propellant. Put it back where you found it, you moron.

Word to what ^ said. Smokeless powder is dumb as an explosive (as explained in another thread).

The strontium-based nitrate is neat-o for making coloured fountains; but there's not enough. and it's wayyy too expensive getting it from flares. Just use it as a fuckin' flare.

Ok so i )PACKED( it all in a film canister and mixed it w/ alcohol to improve the lighting...... then put in a fuze in the lid sealed off w/ GP and wax......
