i need some ideas for a time delay grenade casing. i checked the casings sticky but couldnt find anything that would really work. ive got everything else done all i need is a casing

How big, what filler, what det method and what timing system?

well i was using a percusion from a shotgun shell to ignite a fuse that would burn for maybe 7 - 10 seconds to the detonator (maybe the gunpowder from the shotgun, havnt decided yet) from there i havnt decided on a filler either. but size doesnt really matter. smaller i guess cuz its my first try. so casing and filler suggestions?

go to a military surplus store, and for around 7-10 dollars you can buy decomissioned grenades. fill it with an explosive (i'm assuming a high explosive would be best because thats what they grenades are designed for)

we dont have any of those around here that i know of. i just checked a phonebook lol

i found some replicas on ebay but i dont think i could put shit in em. they were all replicas or bling or snowboarding gloves or other dumb shit

well that sucks. but yeah the ones i've seen at 2 different surplus stores were just hollowed out grenades (possibly m2 frags). they fit very nicely in my hands, btw. (who would have thought...)

shit well its my first one i might just put it in something small like a can or a plastic container to see if i have everything worked out right. if shit goes down proper ill see about finding a better casing. untill then i need a filler.
