Hey there everyone,

I have this really old car of my uncles he plans to get rid of it but I kinda wanna see it go boom in some way... Its not as bad as it seems as in rusted... I just mean under the hood is like completely rusted no car battery and a non working motor... all windows are fine and everything... I was wondering how YOU would get rid of it (using some sort of explosive)... I have had some thoughts but none of them are safe for me to do...

ie: 4 bbq gas tanks under the seats a remote ignitor on the floor all gas bottles open a little open and all windows up and air vents shut then using remote to detonate...
Problem: Air to Gas ratio for proper ignition


That was my idea dosn't seem to safe to me but if worked would be pretty fun to see... (I probably won't attempt that method)

Was wondering what other people would do...
Preferably some one who is NOT going to say
"lol chlorine in ping pong ball ZOMG!" because thats what EVERYONE thinks... it dosn't work (and if it does it RARLY does).

you could take all that rust, and make thermite.

thermite would utterly destroy the engine, but it wouldnt give a very spectacular
destruction.

instead go for a visual effect, take several sealable heavy duty plastic bags and
fill with petrol.

then place these bags ontop of primary explosives, i.e. ANFO or black powder charges
put several charges throughout the car in different places,

when they go off the charges will project the petrol and cause it to fireball,
it will blow out the windows easily

then use thermite to destroy engine

P.S. if you do do this film it and put it on youtube

Fill the gas tank and put thermite over it. I saw Brainiacs do it on YouTube, it was boss.

yeah i have no ideas, altho using the rust to make thermite is amazing.

and i wud love to see that on youtube as well.

and why wud u wanna fill the gas tank up just for a show wen u cud be using the tank of gas to actually go somewhere..?

for your propane idea, if u were to decide to do it, which you wont, you wouldnt need to find the right ratio if u had a flame in the car and slowly released the gas because when it got to the correct ratio it would explode (if my logic is correct).

however, isnt a primary explosive NOT ANFO or black powder? pretty sure ANFO is a secondary.

yes Ninjaofdeath, i was refering to the fact that i was using the 'black powder'
or 'ANFO' as the first smaller explosion to set off another big one.
