ok so i tried it. i have a headache. it makes you light headed to where you pass out. i wish tou would of told me that. the reaction is making carbon dioxide. hence the name baking SODA.

chlorine gas....simple to make but deadly in concentration. separate salt water by electrolysis....in the process of making sodium chlorate i smelt a bleachy smell coming off of one of the electrodes. then i did some chemistry 101 and found out that i was making hydrogen gas(collecting at the negative electrode) and chlorine gas(which was collecting at the positive electrode).
yeah i was bored and started cooking it up in my kitchen and my pops was like wtf!?....lmao
