i have been reading up about explosives for a while now as well as designing my own simple ones but i have never made any. where should i start i was thinking a throwable impact explosive with iodine crystals, matchheads, and flashpowder. is this a good/bad place to start? and how do i get potassium perchlorate?

Start with somthing like meal black powder. Also Al/KClO4 flashes are good to start with. Try united nuclear. or firefox.
