hey, i never said i would get caught with it, and the damn thing isnt launching rocket propelled grenades, its launching potato cannon propelled projectiles which happen to go boom on impact......

actually alot of the stuff on this site can be concidered a felony to have....but that doesnt stop us.....so why should that?

i have to agree with cuddles on that one. i heard that having styrafoam and gas is enough to get you arrested for attempted napalm manufacturing here....

its entirely plausible that they would arrest you for having it, but it would probably be an overnight holding, seeing that there is very little chance of them being able to prove your intent to do anything with it......

Judge: what is his charge?
Prosecution: he had gasoline and styrofoam, and we think he was gonna make napalm

yes, which only cops have access to, and actually, i dont think it goes on your record if its just holding, or its thrown out of court cuz you could have been mistaken as someone else; there is no reason to have your record tainted by something that wasnt even done by you, and they cant discriminate between one overnight holding and another...actually, most overnight holdings arent even recorded cuz they are just that, overnight holdings....

You could get this to work if you cut a coke can in half and stick in your explosive put a blasting charge in get a funnel and tape it upside down on the top of the can and then lightly tape a bb or small rod in the whole of the funnel.. fire the cannon and theoretically on impact if the rod or bb was hit the bb or rod should fly into the bottom of the can and BOOM

it would be hard to get it to hit the impact point butthis isjust a rough idea of cuddles just the way i constructed it a min ago but i dont have any explosives to try this with but the construction was easy enough

yeah, thas actually what i was imagining it would look like, im just no good at making those ascii images.....so i couldnt give you a visual....in theory it would work, but its gonna be a bit difficult to perfect...and a bigger impact area is best, altho this does increase surface area, which will slow the rocket......which i dont think we want.....

i need to build this and prove the concept, but i need something to blow up......and i dont think most people want me blowing up their houses/cars...i think i will hit a tree in the woods with it, modified to be a smaller explosion.....i dont want the danger of setting the forrest on fire, just a proof of concept which i could perfect and use in times of need to protect myself from any aircraft i deem hazerdous to my health...

slowing down of the projectile is a problem in 1 hour when its midday here and my parents arnt home ill see if i got anything i could use to try this out with usually im always low on supplys but i could always check...

whell perhaps a buffer to create friction on the projectile, such as a styrofoam wall around the inside of the potato cannon which isnt really that thick...or just using a smaller ammount of fuel....
