can someone draw a diagram on how to make an exploding arrow please?

i remember ther already being a topic on this
i just say make some iodine crystels there around ehr somewhere

but could i hook something to the front that would explode that i have around my house?

a primer from a shotgun. if you cant put somthing together then you shouldnt be making a god damn exploding arrow.

I'm not sure how to make a contact explosive for the end. I started a topic about it. Anyway, you need to keep in mind that whatever explosive device you use as an arrow head is going to be much heavier than a standard arrowhead. The arrow will try to point down and will hit you in the foot. To avoid this you should balance it out by making the arrow shaft out of a heavier material. Also, you could hollow out the shaft and fill it with something, like an explosive powder of your choice. That would probably weight it down sufficiently. Also, because of the extra wieght, you wouldn't be able to settle for your regular archary technique. You would have to pull back harder and possibly point up higher.

i was thinking that i could cut off the tip of an arrow and then put a stopper in the shaft, then fill it with GP out of a shotgun shell and then put a snapper on the top of it and then tape it shut, would that work?

snapper wouldnt work for ignition...thinks

Just a thought but anything you fasten to the end of the arrow will most likely be unstable...in order to get the effect your looking for and you will have to be extremely careful transporting the arrow...so if its just to get the explosive effect why not shoot the arrow at something explosive while its on fire.

Empty a shotgun shell, except for the primer, fill the shell with HE, and tape the shell to the arrow. I have already made a diagram on this, so you can just look it up.
