i need some ideas on making strong bombs out of household products can anyone help?

Well ill help you......some of the "pros" never seem to want to help new ppl.

The only kind of strong bomb of household products I know of at this moment is "The Works" bomb.

Just pour a little bit of a toilet cleaner called The Works into a pop bottle. Next have a lot of small bits of aluminum foil and go to the area you want to toss the bomb. Now quickly, put the foil bits into the bottle with the works and screw the cap on fast and tight. Shake it a little bit and throw it, NOW RUN LIKE HELL.

The cleaner is an acid called muriatic acid, it reacts with the foil to produce heat and a gas. I can't remember what the gas is but it is toxic and possibly flammable. The gas fills the bottle to the point of it exploding.

ya the gas produced is hydrogen. so its fun to put a balloon over the top of the pop bottle and fill it up with the hydrogen. its fun because when lit hydrogen makes a very loud noise

Thats not a strong bomb at all. You need more than household products to make a "strong" bomb.

The strongest bomb I can imagine out of house hold products is a pipe bomb. Pull the primer off shotgun shells (without blowing your fingers off). Put the gun powder in a pipe tape a top on with a tiny hole for a fuse.

It will work for anything explosive. pipe+explosive=pipe bomb.

Yea, shotgun shells don't seem to be "household products" to me. Not all of us have them just laying around ya know, well some probably have them everywhere but anyway. Most of the household bombs are usually pressure bombs, that is in NORMAL households.

And I really don't care if you are annoyed by the works bomb, Shock903! It is one of the most known pressure bombs out of household products so GET OVER IT!! YOU WILL HEAR ABOUT IT AGAIN AND COMPLAINING ABOUT IT WONT STOP IT!!!!!
I'm annoyed by the styrofoam and gas napalm being said too many times and I'm not bitching about it like you are.

I just hate it when people that have been here longer get arrogant enough to shoot down what newer people say or ask. Just try to be helpful for a change and not an @$$!!!

I do admit shotgun shells aren't fully a household product but most people or peoples parents that have a gun or something of the sort will most likely have shells or rounds and that would basically make them a household product.

And you are right, my parents do have a gun(s) so I could empty the bullets. I just really don't trust myself to open them carefully enough so they don't go boom lol.

Also, the works bomb (sorry for bringing it up again) could be more powerful if it was put in a container like a pipe bomb (a metal pipe with capped ends). It would take a lot more pressure to explode, but that means more of a boom! Lol.....it is probably too weak to do that, but it would something new to try.


I have been complaining about the napalm, just not as much.
