i would guess the easiest way would to be get a spark plug (or something that will make a spark), take the cellphone apart, find the part that connects to the ringer/vibrator if you want it to be silent, get a step up transformer, take off the wires to the chosen device (speaker, or little motor on the bottom, attach the wires according to the way they should be attached to the transformer (try to figure out which one is + and which is - by looking on the device you are removing it from, as it is usually there, then attatch the wires from the step up transformer to the sparking device (could just be the wires which are separated slightly), then place them near/ in the secondary explosive (something that detonates easily in prescence of shock, in order to ensure the primary explosive has enough force being put on it to blow it up), then stick the primary explosive in with the secondary explosive, then call it (at a safe distance, preferably behind something incase you get shrapnel from the phone) and see if it works...altho you would need to start getting those go phones that come with minutes, so that its untraceable, and they are fairly cheap to get, meaning you can get more...or case the phone in something sturdy which will withstand the explosion, and place the explosive outside the case...that might work too...


altho in the picture, it appears that the guy used an electrically triggered switch to turn on all those d batteries, which may be more practical than a step up transformer, as it takes 100 volts to go 1 centimeter

edit: i thougt i should add: if you have access to a volt meter, use that to find + and -

haircomb thing? all i see that is remotely like a hair comb is the soldering iron...and it is to solder things together (electronics, that silver stuff that connects wires together is solder, and you use a soldering iron to spread it onto the bare wires)

I presume you want to make a remote detonation device. The best (and alas, most expensive) way to do that, is with a pager.

Open the pager, replace the microphone by a small amount of a (electric) shock-sensitive primary explosive. Then you can just put other explosives around it, and when you call the pager, the primer should set off, detonating the explosive.

that would take far too long to heat to temperature to be worth it (especially when its powered by 6 D batteries), i think the soldering iron is there for display of what was used to make it

i have a feeling a pager is too easily traced unless you get an anonymous pager (one that doesnt require a name or adress to activate)...chances are that the pager will have salvageable pieces, which makes it easily traced...unless you encase it with the primary explosive..then it probably wont survive...disregard everything i just said.....pager would probably be cheaper than a cellphone...
