the only time i say "anfo" explode, it wasnt actually anfo. it was on a show when they were trying to see if the dude lied about the oklahoma city bombing ANFO amount. they used some powder that they said was similar, but they didnt really confine it. they just kinda poured it in a barrels. with no lid or anything

Sounds like kinepak, or ANNM, where the fuel oil is replaced with nitromethane. More powerful, easier to det; so they don't require quite as much confinement.

i have found a procedure (recipe kinda sounds gay) for making something called crimson powder, ever heard of it? its supposed to be for like the parachute charge for model rockets. it says it burns faster than black powder, and seeing as how i have no easy access to potassium perchlorate it would probably be easier to make than flash. it consists of Ascorbic acid, Potassium Nitrate and Iron Oxide. if you have not heard of it or dont know if it will work, i can post the exact amounts. actually i will in like an hour.

what it says hurr is 6.2 grams KNO3, 4.5 grams Ascorbic acid, 0.5 grams Red Iron Oxide. and then it basically says to boil them in 30 ml of water, then when the water is most of the way gone, to put it in a 150 degree oven for about an hour. then to grind it up with a mortar and pestle. is there any chance of this working?

Crimson powder is one of those compositions bantered about that is half-myth half-truth. I've never tried it, but it looks like a standard precipitation process, but I have no idea how effective it'd be. Iron oxide in KNO3 fuels acts as a catalyst and will increase your burn rate by magnitudes of ten, but I'm unsure as to how good a fuel ascorbic acid would be.

Use an exacto knife to cut tiny scratches all around the inside end of the tube, to rough it up and make the glue stick better.
