Ok gents, Im keen to make some carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) explosive (2 parts aluminum powder 1 part tetrachloride) which should be basic but I lack in knowledge of its power, properties and how I should handle it. I have a few questions.
First of all, I know the basics and rules so dont tell something stupid like stay away from the fumes.

Ok so either tetrachloride/tetrachloroethylene work for the explosive but which one comes frome the fire extinguisher?
How do I handle / store this explosive?

and i forgot to add that I know it detonates under certain conditions but not the exact conditions.

Ok here let me list everything I know about Carbon tet explosive.
Carbon Tetrachloride can be easily obtained from fire extinguisher refils.
If it is in an oxidised area it will detonate after around about 72 so you only make this stuff to use it obviously like every other explosive.
Its dangerous to inhale the fumes and obviously I wouldnt be plunging my hand into it.
To make the explosive you add the tetrachloride (1 part) to the aluminum powder (2 pats) stiring carfuly.
A blasting cap is used to detonate the explosive.
If you are to store this explosive (I wouldnt trust it) keep it in an air tight jar.

Thats all I know and I dont believe that this is lacking in knowladge that bad.
