I've heard that you need more than just a normal primary explosive like AP to det something as stable as ANFO. I've looked for a way to synthisize some of these more powerful boosters but have found none.... does anyone know how to make a booster? or anything more powerful than just AP or mercury fulminate?

I looked on wiki! All I got was some shit about tetryl and it said that even that was outdated... Now is there a difference between boosters and primary explosives? If so what are some boosters?

Nothing's wrong with tetryl. We go to the page for it, which tells us 'Tetryl is produced by action of a mix of concentrated nitric acid and sulfuric acid on dimethylaniline.'

So a basic nitration. It's not hard to calc it out.

I have deted ANFO with AP. I had issues with it though and I never got a full detonation. Your best bet is gonna be a PVC pipe with 50/50 AP and AN mixed very well together, Then your ANFO. See the AN/AP is your Primary and your Booster. And it will detonate the ANFO (Ammonia Nitrate + Fuel Oil.) You can find the ratios needed anywhere for mixing. And wear a gas mask or do it outside. It releases ammonia gases and smells like really strong ammonia. Always be careful, and if you can't make AP you don't need to be fucking with this shit. Its crazy strong.
