i just wanted to know if there is any cheap, around the house, black powder substitutes...i wanna make grenades out of aluminum arrows but cant get my hands on black powder..got any ideas?

i was also thinkink of dumping out shotshells cuz i need the primers anyway but id rather just use the primers for reloading shells because i can them fairly easily

Truth. But the art is in how the ingredients are milled and corned.

Note that aluminum shafted arrows offer minimal confinement and probably won't explode all that well if filled with black powder. You'll get a "poof" and some smoke but very little in the way of "bang." Also, (since I assume you're following the Jolly Roger so-called 'method' of building these stupid things) note that with a shotgun primer on the end of the arrow it'll only actually go off if you hit a hard surface dead on.

Ya know, instead of getting shotshell powder you could just buy a bottle of black powder for muzzleloaders. Me and my friends got some and made a good pipe bomb out of it.

im only 14...id have to take it from my father or my pap and that wont happen lol my friends pap has a little sporting goods store we might take some from there and you glue a bb to the primer,it makes it easier to spark off
