black powder sticks
i bought model rocket engines 4 the black powder thats in them but they r in the form of sticks. i've shaved one down 2 powder with a blade and made explosives but i want 2 do sumthig better with my last stick, any suggestions???

you could maybe put the sticks into a ball mill with lead balls an mill it to a fine powder.

good ol' black powder
i know how to make black powder from scratch if your that intrested then hit me up. i know how to make the saltpeter from scratch, mix it with the charcoal and sulfur. the approx. ratio for black powder varys based on what you want to do w/ it.
normally its its 75% charcoal(not the kind you get at the store), 15% saltpeter, and 10% sulfur, based on the weight of the final product

yeah, i would suggest a ball mill, but if u are like me and are too lazy to make one use a mortar and pestle. thats what i did, and it worked pretty good. and it was made of marble so i didnt have to worry about sparks. unless pressure can ignite it? allthough i doubt it. dude, put it in a co2 canister. i made like 3, fucking fun. made a pretty big crater. my friend wants to hire me out to use them to blow up gopher holes hahahaha

another idea for your black poder expiriments! take you're black powder and a CO2 cartidge for a BB gun or some shit, poke a hole in the top of the cart***** and pry it open a little bit with a nail. take a funnel "a very small funnel" and put you're black pwder i he CO2 gart*****. place a fuse in the hole in the top. Light it and run like hell. the Shrapnel is nasty shit that can very well kill you in an instant. be sure to take cover and watch in amazment.
