Oh, ok. Hey fate I found this video where a guy makes a smoke bomb by chopping up ping-pong balls and wrapping them in a cigarette wrapper then lighting it. Would wrapping it in alluminum foil work too? It doesn't need a fuse so I guess it can be seen as an alternative to a fuse if you're making a smoke bomb. I think I'll start a thread on alternatives to fuses, or should we keep it going here?

The ping pong ball thing works, but unless you have a source from which to steal them en masse it's not a very good bang for your buck.

Partially nitrate cellulose and dissolve in acetone then evaporate. and wrap in tin foil. Pin pong balls are partially nitrated cellulose

Ammonium nitrate soaked newspaper is easier, works better, and is cheaper to boot. KNO3/Sucrose/Parafin is also nothing to sneeze at.

Parafin is unneeded sucrose and KNO3 works great as smoke bombs. Also work great as cheap rocket fuel for ameteurs when recrystalized with a little cornsyrup present.
