ive found this way has a better flash, and there is no point in doing it if it doesnt look good

and my impact mixture is
50% red phosphorus and
50% sodium chlorate

sodium chlorate will not combust spontaneously when mixed with phosphorus, it needs to be hit to be detonated

lastly i tried to learn how to make nitro in other places but i could not get good enough directions anywhere else

the first atempt was working out well, but then it started to heat up faster then i could cool it down so i just dumped the whole thing into a tub of dry ice. Better to be a coward then dead.

Second results have turned out the same, but i managed to go a bit longer. I still cant get the damn temperature to stay down.

Using dry ice is not a bad idea just take care not to freeze the nitro, it's so volatile it might explode when unfrezing.
