Need help on making one. I want to try and make one using stainless steel and graphite but Ive been told it can also be made with a stainless steel anode and cathode. Also, about how long will it take to make and what do i do with the left over shit at the bottom of the cell? Ive heard you have to cool it in the f***** or freezer till you get crystals, or can you just let it dry out over night on something? (of course after its been filtered if needed) Please help I know they are basic questions but im not exactly sure.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't make KClO3 from KCl, because of the high solubility of K in molten KCl.

But it can be made by making NaClO3 from NaCl through this process and then can be reacted with KCl to produce KClO3.

This is what I used, and it is not hard to produce multiply units and create pounds at of the stuff in small amounts of time. Being 10-20lbs vs 2-4 weeks depends of efficency.

KCLO3 can be made through the electrosis of NaCl, (with suitable electrodes) to produce Sodium Chlorate then a double decomposition with KCl to produce KCLO3
