for making potassium nitrate does it mean pure alcohol or like gin with 50% or sumthin

i would assume somthing stronger like everclear...but im not a relyable resource on this stuff...im sure someone with more knowledge will come to your aid...haha

you can use denatured alcohol acetone anything that miscible with water but saltpeter doesnt dissolve in.
