y wouldnt it it has a higher density than water and is more viscous, if u have it at a high enough pressure it is almost solid, it is used to stop extreme pessures from damaging stuff, so why couldnt it redirect an explosion?

You've never seen a large explosion, obviously cody.

Even weak primaries like AP are extremely damaging to things close to them. Most likely the gel would just shatter or crumble instantly from the pressure.

no, the gell has its own form of solidity and would be pushed aside by the explosion, only a pure liquid or extremely heavy solid can achieve the density required for this result, water cant be easily controled and forms an excellent barrier.

i have seen a large explosion iv just never tried to direct one so i figured that since hydrostatic gel can cousion things from concusions that it may be able to direct them but water is far easier

i passed eighth grade but gel is more solid than water and would hold together and be forced out of the way and the explosion would not have the desired effect.
