I know another way to get lots of free games. i'm sure 90% of you already know this but i'm sure it will help some people.

Download an "emulator" which is basically a virtual console. you can get one from emulator-zone.com or some other similiar website. You'll likely want to go through any "readme" files since some of them can be a pain to work.

Next You'll need to dowload some ROMs for games. I like using Coolrom.com but there's countless sites that give out ROMs. Some ROMs are illegal and will be harder to find though. Then you just open your dowloaded ROM in your emulator and start playing.

This is mostly for older console games though. So you won't be able to dowload xbox 360 games or anything like that. Some games are almost impossible to get otherwise, like earthbound for example, so it's nice to have.

Download the zsnesw emulator I think thats what its called when you get that you just have to get the file for the game and you can play almost any super nintendo game for free. I'm playing Chrono Trigger currently on mine.

I got Desmume working 100% perfectly in about half a minute. Fuck yeah Phoenix Wright.

The latest emulated console is one of the last generation consoles (they all have emulators floating around), although those aren't very stable. I know a guy who got a PS2 emulator to work. N64 and all cart***** system emulators are easy to get working, almost no work required if you do some looking for the better emulators.

There are DC emulators around that work pretty well, I use Chankast which has a problem with the sound where it skips constantly, but there's fixes for that, and there are a lot of good playstation emulators.

Also, @louie's other post, I use Project 64 personally and it works...well, perfectly.

(Yeesh, all that working on a vista, I must be holy or something.)

P.S. Google is your friend.

well then you got a bad emulator...
mine only freeze when you hold down a certain hotkey, or when I'm dragging the Window.
But they are really handy.

Try deleting the original ROM, then find another one and rename it to what the original was. The emulator should associate them, and the files should be compatible. If that doesn't work, try a few times more and then look into other emulators I guess.

I'm playing super mario rpg (best SNES game ever) and it always freezes at one particular spot. This sounds like it would help though

It's probably something with the emulator then. Have you tried a different emulator?

Also, if you have a Wii you can just buy it off that shop thing.
