View Full Version : Headbanger's daily delite

louied777
April 11th, 2008, 10:32 PM
Okay.
I decided since there are a vast number of Metal nuts in ACB, that I should start a song of the day, special for metal. Every day, I will post a song title along with the band that wrote it, so you can download it and shit. I opt for headbangable tunes only, so prepare for brain carnage and mushing. lol
But feel free to comment on any song. Also, if I miss a day, it's because I'm busy, but I will give you a rain check.
First song is one of the most headbangable songs in metal.
Fansong-Dethklok

But as a bonus for the first day, I'll slap up another:

The night they returned-Kataklysm

But give me some feedback.
Music is awesome
fuckfaces

Kasnia
April 11th, 2008, 10:40 PM
I think this will be awesome.
I'm a huge fan of Dethklok, and seeing as how you recommended them, I'm definitely going to check out the second song. Can't wait to see what else you post.

100 miles? Why not just download it/order it online?
I couldn't find that one song by Kataklysm (I was looking for it on YouTube first) but they had other songs by them, which I listened to and enjoyed.

April 12th, 2008, 12:54 PM

other then that I think this is an awsome Idea, I'm not a huge metal fan but w/e i still aprieciate the whole idea thingy.

Give me some feedback on the songs.

I like this song. *favorites*
Some of them I'm just looking up on YouTube, but couldn't find them. All I could find was people doing covers of them.

4/15: Inhumanity-Mors Principium Est
Fucking cool band.
Oh, Wintersun, yesterday's band, is only 2 members. the lead guy does vocals, both guitars, bass and keyboards (I think he does the keyboards). Dethklok is the same. Equally amazing
As for the links, what do you mean, specifically

blindskater2846
April 15th, 2008, 07:09 PM
i love mors principium est. and if i may may i reccomend a song? i just heard it for the first time today. its called ride darkhorse ride by 3 inches of blood. its amazing. some may say the vocals are annoying but i think they fit perfect for the song.

4/18-Chapel of Ghouls- Morbid Angel
This song is from 1989 and should be respected along with Cannibal Corpse for being one of the first deathmetal bands. I like the vocal pattern at the beginning

louied777
April 19th, 2008, 01:44 AM

4/23: The light that blinds-Shadows Fall. I know many of you have heard this song, but the intro acoustic and intro distorted gives me an orgasm
4/24: Dehumanization: Meshuggah. From the album "Catch 33" an AMAZING album! Download the entire album, and put the songs in the correct order, they form one song put together to be 43 minutes. so it's one song split into 13 tracks

louied777
April 24th, 2008, 11:47 PM
4/25: A family tree to hang from-Circle of dead children...pay attention to the vast array of vocal abilities. It's only 59 seconds long but it's a typical grindcore song.
No one really comments on the songs. Am I even doing a good job as Music mod???

April 25th, 2008, 12:09 AM
that's the purpose of this thread: to spread some good death metal and get some cool fans for these hardworking bands. There are no moneygrubbers in metal...know why??? Because you know that if you're gonna do metal, you're not gonna be too rich, so you do it for the music which is how it should be

louied777
April 25th, 2008, 11:17 PM
4/26: Fuel for hatred-satyricon

I've been extre***y busy lately so I'm apologizing for not posting daily songs lately. I have exams and am loaded with work but
4/27-Exhumed remains- Cephalic Carnage (One of my favorite metal songs of all time)
4/28- Stab- mortician.
Also as a bonus, Tokyo Style Speedcore- M1dy. It's not metal but terror/speedcore and it's 400 bpm. it's basically intense techno on speed and cocaine

5/7:Deranged epidemic- disgorge

Kasnia
May 15th, 2008, 02:03 PM
I like them. And I usually listen to them. I just don't usually comment on them. I didn't really want to sound like a broken record everytime you'd make a post, and be like, "That one's cool!" just over and over.

You do pick some awesome songs though.

In louie's (and skunk's) absence, I shall take this thread over until louie decides he wants it back :P hope i don't run out of music, and there's sure to be some repeated bands now and again

BUT, since it's past midnight, i'll start this week of with one of the only newer American metal bands i fucking love, DIVINE HERESY - Monolithic Doomsday Devices

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnYSMYzGTZ4&feature=related

This is off their newest album Bringer of Plagues (it actually isn't out until the 26th, haha) I really would have preffered to put up something off their first album, when they had Tommy Vext as their singer. But, since Dino is an egomaniac, he took all the old vids off youtube a few months back of both DH and Fear Factory. His 'ego' is actually what caused Vext to leave several months back. Unfortunate event.

Band Line up-
Singer - Travis Neal (ex-Pushed)
Guitars - Dino Cazares (ex-Fear Factory)
Drums - Tim Yeung (ex-Hate Eternal/Vital Remains. also, Tim=Beast)
Bass - Joe Payne (es-Nile)

(as a side note, i'll be posting videos for all songs i put up, and probably a bit of trivial information about the band)

For today, i bring you Born of Osiris - Open Arms to Damnation

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8sd7ohC-IY

To be honest, this isn't really my genre of music, and its one of two songs i really like by them, but its really fun to play on guitar.

Enjoy.

Decapitated - Day 69

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIB9mSbD67k

A little Polish Technical death for you.
Unfortunately, this is probably the last album you'll hear from them. At least, last album with the original drummer. Oct. 28, 2007, the band got into an accident on their tour bus, killing Vitek (23) and putting Covan in a coma.

Line up
Wacław Kiełtyka ("Vogg") - guitars
Witold Kiełtyka ("Vitek") - drums
Marcin Rygiel ("Martin") - bass
Adrian Kowanek ("Covan") - vocals (2005–2007)

Well, I wont be around tomorrow, so i may as well post one up now. To kick off the weekend will be some old school Thrash, and as a side note, i've decided that weekends will be all old school metal. I present to you SLAYER - Black Magic

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHiUf1xThE0&feature=related

Most people know this band solely because of Raining Blood on guitar hero 3 >.>
Formed in 1981 (the same year as the ever so popular Metallica, the difference here being that Slayer is still good shit, while Metallica is just shit now) Slayer has released 11 albums, two of which being live, headlined on big tours (such as mayhem festival this year. i really wish i could go ]: ) and winning two grammies. Lead guitarist Kerry King was actually good friends with Dimebag, being one of Dimebags influences and one of the first to really discover Pantera and say "Hey, these guys are pretty good." Believe it or not, King also used to have a long mane of hair lol. Slayer's albums are about "controversial" topics such as Nazism, necrophilia, and satanism, getting them bans, delays, and lawsuits. Thats some brutal fucking metal.
