Well how can I go about creating a shotgun out of homemade paraphernalia. I am interested in the creation of weapons for various reasons. It is a personal hobbie of mine to create them, so I would just like to know the blueprints for one.

a piece of wood with a nail in the center and a longer steel pipe with a smaller diameter than the curved one. The piece of wood goes inside the curved pipe with the nail pointing to the tip of the pipe, then the other pipe is put inside the curved one the nail makes as a trigger.A 12-gauge shotgun shell is placed inside the longer pipe, then the long pipe is placed into the curved pipe and pulled to detonate the shell. right from Google search check it out

well if your planning on using shotgun shells... you need to make sure the shell has a snug fit in the barrel. like a real shotgun. And make sure the metal your using is strong enough to withstand the forces acting upon it from the shell when its fired. Or youll get some unwanted results...

the guy above me is on crack, and whoever suggested using wood as a reciever probably was not thinking.

get a lathe, and a milling machine. then you can make your shotgun.

I wouldn't try it and put little faith in it but have heard numerous times that you can stick a 12 gauge shell in a flare gun and use it. Personally I'd be afraid it would just blow up in your hand but who knows.

Exept the fact that a B&E plus a sale of stolen property
lands you minimum of 5 years in prison if you get caught.
and you need lisenses that only 18 year olds and up can get
your a fucking waist of life

To get any really good plans you'll have to buy them, try something like The Home Gun Workshop (http://www.amazon.com/Home-Workshop-Prototype-Firearms-Resistance/dp/0873647920/ref=pd_sim_b_3/103-0398527-3727817). Good Luck.

does anyone know if its possible to fill a shotgun shell with rock salt? im thinking about trying it but im not sure how bad it would hurt or if it would work at all. so what do u ya think

Yeah, it used to be really common for farmers and rural civillians to use rock Salt shotgun shells as a property defense technique. My Grandfather Used To Do It. It Works, but with greatly reduced penetration and Velocity. Don't expect it to really hurt somebody, but when they here the shot and feal the sting they'll think they've really been shot and will run like hell.Check Out This Link. It will destroy the flare gun because their not designed to handle the pressure of shotgun shells.

I'd just buy one... why waste time/money trying to put together something that'll probably fail/endanger you?

lol Cheetzzz is absolutely right. Making your own firearm out of pipes is going to get you killed very quickly. Firearms are designed to safely handle extre***y high pressure and heat, and they're made from materials you can't buy at a hardware store. If you're 18, go to Wal-Mart and buy a POS pump action for $200, I'm not aware of any states that require licensing for long-guns. Guns are not toys...if you're not 18, you have no need for one. If you really want one, ask your parents to buy it for you.

why would you want to make a shotgun? You can go to auction and pick them up for even less that $200 if you really don't have the money.

Did he not say he had an interest in manufacturing weapons?

i build my own shotgun once, i'll try to find my blue prints for it and post them, it used custom shells too, they were a piece of pipe about 2in long and about 1/2inch in diameter. it had an electrical detonator and used about a gram of acetone peroxide and some .117 cal bbs loaded in the small shell pipe, then the shell was fitted to the electrical igniter in the longer steel pipe mounted on a wooden handle, im not sure how power full it was but i killed a racoon with it

3/4 inch pipe fits a twelve gauge shell almost perfectly. If you need more information than this, you're too stupid to own a shotgun.

id jimy rig a pipe to hold a 12 guage shell an then i would weld a flat piece of metal to on end and grind it sharp now you have 2 difrent weapons to use
