every time i visit google it juss tells me how to TRACK ip-address,but i want to
GET,FIND,KNOW the ip-address so i can TRACk.

IF anyone knos anything or sometin about finding someones ip-address expesifictly friends like some one.

most site i visit tell me how to find like random person it help a little but i want to find someones ip expesificly.

Go to a free host that has php....set up an ip logging script...send the person a link in an im/email or sumtin...

When I was starting to learn about computers, I started with hardware and got to where I could build them from scratch... Then I got into software more, made my own OS, and fucked around with other peoples source. I am to the point where I am where I should be. I don't know too much or too little. But I can tell you I have never asked somebody for help on a simple question like this. If I've asked anything, it is "can i have a copy of that software?" or something.

Hate to do it but I have to agree when he said making his own OS's I knew he was shitting.

Getting an IP is done all different ways, easiest would be to chat your buddy on aim, try to send him a file, drop to dos and type netstat (-t?) or whichever keeps it running , once he accept his ip will be in that list, best done with only aim running. The php script is a good idea or if you have a firewall you coudl probably just send him a link like ftp://my.ip.ad.dy (your ip address) , he would click it and then an alert would come up saying he tried to connect to your machine.

I am afraid the next question is going to be "Have IP address, now what?!" or some shit.

Minister is right the easiest way is through cmd with netstat and shows foriegn IPs. Another way is zonealarm. When you make a direct connection to anyone on any IM platform ZA shows a alert that says IP () is trying to connect do you want to trust this source. And boom instant IP. There are also ways such as php codes to log the IP addy of someone that can be done simply by adding a php or html script into a webpage which is easy. But why steal an IP when you can steal cookies?

Since you didnt even know how to get the person's IP I'm guessing you're one of the new kids that will ping the IP for the next two weeks before you actually figure out what you are doing.
