I say this assuming that everyone knows of the Mayan prophecy that the world will end on December 21, 2012. I have researched about it and found that the Hopi and Mayan elders do not prophesize that everything will come to an end. Rather, this is a time of transition from one World Age into another. The message they give concerns our making a choice of how we enter the future ahead. Our moving through with either resistance or acceptance will determine whether the transition will happen with cataclysmic changes or gradual peace and tranquility. The same theme can be found reflected in the prophecies of many other Native American visionaries from Black Elk to Sun Bear. I guess what i'm saying is what do you believe is the truth?

I just skimmed a page about it....doesn't seem to bad. Oh and it doesn't say the world is gonna end...it says the world is gonna change go from a world of destruction to a world of peace. Sounds good to me.

Well, obviously the world is going to change. You can't just leave it at that. It's always changing in some way or another. Elaborating and explaining how it will change would make for better discussion.

dudeinthathat357
October 2nd, 2007, 07:28 PM
well both the cocaine to help put him through the hard times and the slaves cause they helped shape the world into what it is today... (even though it was wrong to use people as slaves) its my beliefs they helped a lot toward the growth of many cultures.

this is true,,but did gw's slaves shape the worldor the us??and they helped the growth of many cultures? more like we ripped them of their cutlures and native communities and forced labor on them...
also, using cocaine to "help through the hard times" is gay and stupid, and go get a fucking life

well when i said help shape the culture i meant of the slave owners land and when i said help the world i meant all the different country's who engaged in slavery (not all at this time period) not just GW's slaved. yes they fucked the slaves cultures up, and the cocaine bit i don't believe he did so i just wrote shit down but im not going to argue with you...

It depends on how you look at it. Whether you look at it from a religious or scientific standpoint. I think people cope better with the thought of the world ending if they are religious. It makes them believe that the physical world is ending, and it is the start of a spiritual one for them. Scientifically, it's kind of depressing to think about, considering our foremost human instinct is self-preservation. Also, if you think about what kind of end it would be, you have to decide whether you're going to look at it, again, from a religious or scientific standpoint. From the religious side, you could basically turn to Revelations and take a look at all the shit that's going to happen. Scientifically, there's a lot of shit to look at. Self-destruction or natural disastor? Meteor or global warming? Seismic activity or lack of natural resources? It also depends how far ahead you want to look.

FOOLS! If you listen to Sylvia Browne, she says that the world will end/change/whatever in 92 years or so. She seems to know what shes talking about, she is very accurate in that kind of bullshit.
